Title: Rocky Fork
Post by: g on March 27, 2016, 12:30:18 PM
Fished Rocky Fork docks yesterday from 5 pm to 9 pm. Fishing was slow but ended up catching 8 keeper crappies, biggest 11 1/2 in, at least 1/2 doz. gills and 1 warmouth. Most fish caught on a 3/16 firetiger vibe. 3 of the crappies had the entire vibe in their mouth. The crappies didn't start biting until closer to dark.

Fished Rocky again Sn. evening for 3 hours. Caught an 11 1/2 in. crappie within 5 min. and thought it was going to be a good bite. WRONG. Did end up catching 4 keeper crappies and 1 warmouth, probably the same one from Sat. since it was off the same dock. Still enjoyable to get out and use the ice gear.
