I just tried to look up the phone number for the bait shop there near the dam and it shows as "permanently closed". Is that true, and if it is are there any other sources for live bait on the south side of the lake? Thanks.

Its still there. I think it just changed owners. Not sure what the name is but I was in there several times this winter even though Google said it was closed. There's also a couple baitshops on rt 4. Never been in em but...
