So my Buddy has predicted we'll be on the ice by Dec 22nd...
Given the current weather patterns, what's everyone else predicting?

Don't know if it will be that soon on alum, maybe backwaters. I would think it will take a little longer to get it to lock up. I'm checking Indian this weekend.

I'd say if the people weather holds like it is now, 2nd week of January to fish alum.  It's seep water and take a little while to cool down and lock up.
