Ok guys talked with the charter company and got some dates available sat. 4-22 and sat. 4-29. Sundays seem to be pretty much wide open if it would work better for the majority. We would need to be at the dock by 730 boat leaves at 8 done at 3! If I can get 20 people to commit for sure cost will be $ 33.00 each, private boat for just IFO members and family. Please let me know asap Cuz dates are filling up fast.

I got you reserved G, money is due day of I used my credit card for the boat. Bait shop opens at 7 and the boat leaves at 8

I guess I need to go shopping and get a few more jigs. They didn't like what I had last year.

It will be the jig bite again this year. U must bring your own gear , and snacks and coolers to take your fish home. A cooler with ice is supplied on the boat for your catch. The boat is equipped with a rest room. You must have a fishing license also, bait will be available at 7am boat leaves at 8am and returns at 2 I believe

Yep boat is full, thanks to all who booked with us again this year! Hopefully the weather will cooperate (unlike last year). But since 30 ain't coming we should be good

Lol. Hope you guys get em. Gonna try to get my jig trip in a little earlier this year. I have to go to a wedding that weekend anyway so the weather should be perfect.

Hello members! We are approximately 10 days away from the 2nd annual IFO get together with "Shore Nuff" charters. Make sure you check out their website so you have all the right info and directions. Nate according to Shore Nuf Charters' site if our trip is considered a headboat times are suppose to be 8-3 but if it is considered a private charter under FAQ it says those run 7-2. May want to check this out.

I went shopping and bought a few more jigs Thursday. I only bought 17 so I did good so far. I'm ready for the trip.

Talked with the captain this morning and everything is still a go for Saturday fishing trip, if anything changes I will post something ASAP. Can't wait to see everyone and hopefully catching some HOG WALLEYES!

I've been watching the weather channel for port Clinton. Looks like rain and 57 for a high with wind out of the NE at 14 mph. Everyone should be prepared for a bumpy ride. Hopefully it will change by then. It's already changed twice since Sunday morning. G you probably won't see a fish if you are near me. It will be a skunk like last year for me. But it's about the time together picking on each other.

Yea everybody best bring rain gear as calling for 60% chance of rain. I am seeing NE @ 10mph with gusts of 16 so could be a tiny bit bumpy.

Hey just reporting what Accuweather is calling for on Saturday. Am hoing the wind direction is wrong and stays out of the south. Nate you seem to have forgotten about these bad boys from last week.

Ok guys 2 days until the get together, it looks like we will have very little rain for most of the trip. FYI the boat is covered so it won't effect us much! Thanks to all we made the commitment and are following through with it. 3 months ago when I planned the tripit was all a guess on things like weather, winds, FISH etc. I appreciate everyone who honored the obligation and will attend so it won't effect the cost for the rest of us!!

The trip is still happening, I'm at port clinton now we fished a few hours tonight and caught a few nice walleyes while jigging, see everyone in the morning!

Good luck guys. I'm headed to a lacrosse tournament for my daughter in the rain and then I get to go to a wedding. Yayyyy! He's a tip for you guys. ..if the bite is tough, throw nate in the lake. It will get better. ;D have fun.

Ouch! It hurts but I can't say I blame you! Next year I will set it all up but stay home and everyone can fill me in on their wonderful experience next time we see each other.😉

Well the trip didn't go quite as planned and was short; but what an adventure. Maybe we could try a perch trip like in August out of Cleveland area, bigger Perch than the western end. Weather may not cooperate but it would be warmer. It was just nice to see everyone.
