Ok fellow icefisherman the time is upon us to start thinking of the tournament SERIES. Before I put to much into it this year I would like everyone's input. Once some determinations are made I will pursue sponsers, permits and all necessary pieces of the process. Let me know!

I was thinking of fishing long lake (portage lakes), nimi, and mosquito. I know i will have sponsorship change at mosquito, causeway sporting goods gas been sold and Linda retired so I will need to secure a new sponsor, also fisherman's central is in the middle of relocating so not sure about them either.

Sounds good to me! Those are close to home. Might be able to do all 3!! Long is loaded with panfish.

Nah mark and I are still partners but my 9 yr wants fish some. I'll give my boy a taste and see if he can hang with his crazy old man.

If Weather doesn’t cooperate for a series, I’d love even one event/get together if the Ice cooperated. One tournament is better than none.

I'm good for 2 of the 3, mosquito is 2.5 hrs away so if I fish it I might find a place to crash up there.
Just throw dates and times. Are these all going to see Saturday or Sunday tournaments?

I haven't made any preparations for these tournaments, the last two years I invested alot of time and money in planning and promoting these events and the weather just didn't cooperate so I took a different approach. If we get good ice I will consider a scaled down series.

Look at the weather for the next 2 weeks! Might be time to get going on that series. I think we're gonna have a good winter.

We can always do 1 big IFO event/get together tournament. If that’s easier for this year. Roll the panfish series and east west challenge into one event this year if that’s easier.

It looks Like we've got a pretty serious cold weather pattern ahead so I will coordinate a PANFISH serious in the coming weeks. Maybe like a 3 event SERIES, nimi, portage lakes (long lake), and mosquito! I will work on the dates and details over the next week. I do ask for patience, my life is super busy at this point as I am selling my home, moving , etc. Thanks guys!

Nate will be. And after feedback we're doing a east/west event. Last year we never had ice to do the to event. I am planning something for this season, But as Nate said earlier on, its tough to put a lot of money and time in when we don't know if we're getting good ice. Stay tuned, it will happen. Just finishing up the logistics.

Assuming this is foot only no machines? Also if partners can we do seperate shanty's or have to be out of same one?
