Title: Fishing expo
Post by: wapak ice dawg on February 11, 2018, 02:05:04 AM
Went to the show Saturday and met a few of you guys at the ice fish Ohio booth,  it’s always good to be able to meet up with others who are on the web site and put a face to a name. The show was pretty crowded and made it hard to move around, but I still managed to find a few good bargains  ::)

Took two of the grandsons to the show Saturday. Got a couple things at the IFO booth and a pair of ice cleats at the Moggy bait booth. The 10y/o grandson wanted to do the trout pond so I let him. Was a bit disappointed in it as it was the first kids trout pond that I have ever seen where the kid doesn't get to keep the fish or get a prize. Last year I went to the Cleveland show they got a coupon for a buy one get a free spot on a perch charter. Also the girls doing Yoga on the paddleboards last year was a lot more fun to watch than the kayaks.

Did love watching the 10y/o grandson fight a Dolphin on the fishing simulator. If it had been for real he may have gotten pulled overboard. Overall we had a good time

I volunteered on the IFO booth all weekend - it was great to see everyone who came to the booth. I didn’t get to see much of the show however; the vendors and visitors I spoke were all very happy.....we done David for developing a great show and putting Columbus on the fishing map!

I volunteered also except for a short time Saturday morning. It was a great time but I was beat when it was over. I only picked up a few jig bodies and some salsa. Bacon salsa does it get any better.

Hey Bobby, I guess the way to keep you from splurging is to make you work so you can't shop. My condolences. LOL!!!
