Title: It just keeps on giving.......
Post by: slabslayer on January 14, 2019, 12:42:55 PM
Finally getting ice making temps and now Saturday into Sunday they’re calling for 10-16” of snow in Canton/Akron area.  6-10” with freezing rain mixed in for Columbus area. I sure hope they’re wrong.  We can’t get a break this year.  We haven’t had a storm of that magnitude in a while.  But if we do get that much it should force enough water up on the ice everything will melt and we can start over for February.  That would be better than 8” just sitting on the ice that forms this week.

i hear ya joel   this has been a screwy weather patterns season. even last year was screwy.  i managed  alot of great erie fishing when the weather would let me. my go to on ice average has been  first or second week in jan for our area, sometimes in dec but not often anymore.
