Title: A new PB from my little pond.
Post by: columbusfire on January 21, 2024, 02:32:55 PM
New PB for me. 18 inches on a small tungsten jig tipped with a waxie. Caught on a Clam ice team ultra-light rod with an Eagle Claw in-line reel. Quite a battle taking drag with several runs. I was so afraid that the 4 lb line would break!

Ooops ! What I meant to say is you will "never"forget this one. Don't know about anyone else but there isn't much time left before the warm temps and rain start.

Great!!  Good catch!
I did make it out yesterday on Portage.  Tons of fish, but nothing great.  9” crappies and gills from 3-9”.  It might be one and done this year for me.  Hoping for a weather turn around!
