Title: Alum This afternoon
Post by: davidhoheisel on October 26, 2010, 04:19:23 PM
I snuck out for a few hours before the storm hit. I caught 5 keeper crappies and 1 17 inch saugeye. The crappies were suspended arounf 14 feet in 24 foot of water. You needed a vexilar to locate them and then drop the bait on there head. The Saugeye came right as it started raining in 18 foot. I caught him on a jiggin rapalla on the bottom.

The Green Hornet strikes again!

Glad you were able to get out today Dave. Do you think th 6th is a little ambitious for a get-together? I kinda hope we'll be able to, but the cooling that I thought I should be expecting doesn't look like it's really coming by then after all...

I'll probably still go either way. It was just too much fun and I'm looking to score my next hit.. so to speak.

I will go anytime. I just have to check the kids sports schedule.
