Title: Jerky Recipe

I have an Excaliber dehydrator and would highly recommend them, it takes only 6-7 hr to dry the whole load.


Jerky Recipe
 
9 lbs. Of meat (beef, deer, elk, or turkey) Sliced thin 1/8" - 1/4"
6 teaspoons of season salt
6 teaspoons of onion powder
3 teaspoons MSG
1 1/2 teaspoons of garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper (optoinal)
1 1/2 cups soy sauce
1 1/2 cups worcestershire sauce
2 oz. of liquid smoke
 
let meat soak in mixture over night in fridge
you may have to heat ingerdients to get them to mix, just make sure to cool before adding the meat.
