Title: Clear Fork

I grew up within a few minutes from the lake. It is an awesome fishery to say the least. Ice fishing at the lake has always been prohibited though.  :'(

Phil was wondering what lakes do you ice fish. Do you fish the mansfield area?

I grew up there but moved away back in 2000. Charles Mill is good for pan fish. Pleasant Hill is good down by the dam if the ice is good. My favorite place up close to there was Shelby Res. I heard they stopped letting people ice fish it though. The reservoir's over in Bucyrus can be awesome for perch. I have saw some absolute huge fish caught in them. I see that they allow ice fishing at Willard Res. now. That would be a good place to go to try for perch and walleye.

The city of Mansfield does not allow ice fishing on it. That is a real bummer it is a great lake to fish. They say there is to much current, that is a crock of sh!t if you ask me. There reasoning is that there are 2 rivers that run in to the lake, if ask me they are creeks. lol
