If you walk out straight off the parking lot about 100 yards you will catch bluegills.  It is a good lake and one of the first to ice over.

Usually one of the first lakes to freeze in Ohio but it is a goofy lake always six inches of slush on top of the ice but the ice under is clear as a bell.  Local told me the stream that feeds into it and out of it causes that to happen.  Wear good boots!

Is there any sign of hard water there? Coming out from Colorado next week, looking for some ice!
