we got a few on mosquito a couple weeks ago but last trip up we got shunked. Im catching loads of crappie a wingfoot but no size. They all run 8 to 9 inch. Ive cought over 1000 crappie this year and maybe 20 were over 10 with the biggest being 13.

Keep an ear to the ground for posts from Alum Creek Lake. I think MDBuckeye was heading to Galena, which is a good sppot for Crappie.
I got into them a few weeks back at CJ and look to possibly find them again this weekend.

Alum has been slow on quality crappies have been getting some but most are under 9". Have been catching them very high at around 4-5 feet but stubborn to get to bite. We have usually ended up with 3-6 12-13" white crappies about every trip but since refreeze only couple keepers.

We are getting some at Buckeye but mostly big pan fish in 5 feet of water by Harbour hills.

Go to Eddie's Bait on Comet Rd. at Nimisila and talk to Eddie. He can tell you some "slab crappie" stories.

They still are getting some nice slabs on the south end of Skeeter.
