The res. has 2-1/4" of ice @ the ramp. pond 33 has 3" @ the ramp, but the ice has a lot of snow on it.

so bonecrusher and I are going to indian in the am for the morn bite, plan on fishing till they turn off. Then prolly head to killdeer. If the res isnt ready I guesse the ponds will have to suffice. If anyone wants to meet up let me know. Aslo if anyone has any info on ice thickness that would be great

Ice was 4" on Friday fishing was slow @ best 4 keeper gils and two 10" s/m bass in 7 hours stay away from the bank and snow!

I'm going to kiser this afternoon just heard from another website that the ramp area has a large crack that isn't passable? idk It wasn't there Friday. ???

I spudded out a little at the ramp today, there were some cracks but they were passable, had some spots of open water towards the island maybe 200 to 300 yards out. Ice felt good just made us uneasy about it so we went to pond 30. Ice was great almost 5 in. marked a ton of fish but they all had lock jaw. Managed 3 short gills and a small channel cat. Not too exciting. Hopefully I will get up to the res shortly.......come on cold!!!!

The res. was locked up good Friday no soft spots that I found but i didn't venture out too far. I was fishing the closest reef to the ramp. glad to hear that you can pass the crack

my self and bonecrusher will be there at roughly 7 am sun and prolly stayin all day, if the res isnt ready to the ponds we go...i live on a smaller lake about 13 acres and it is solid with over 4 in....so im guessing the res is fishable. We will see

I decided not to go out that way.  I fished farm ponds instead.

Prolly did better than us fished from 7am to 5pm, not a bite tried all over the res and tried everything in the box. Nothing ice was good everywhere 3.5'' to 5'' good clear ice. Fished the reef closest to the ramp first then hit the three out by the island. Tried the boulder pile and sw ramp..... nothing. Marked some fish but not a ton. Fished watwer from 5ft to 22fow. I have no idea except that i will be back, as soon as possible. determined to figure it out now

 ??? Crazy I fished the res till 2ish and 1 baby crappie. left and went elsewhere. I figured I'd read that you and bonecrusher smoked'em as soon as I left.

We fished four other places in two counties and nada!
It was bad day in Ohio....
