Triton189 , My son and I are going also in the morning to Cj . There's a guy fishing about  400 yards out from from the main boat ramp . Were going to be scouting around , we will be in a bronze jeep Cherokee SUV . If you see us stop us and we can see if we can find them eyes together . Rogue

   Stopped by Madison Lake today it had 1.5" of good looking ice on the west side by the Island . The hole lake was covered but the ice wasn't as clear on the east side at the beach , the NE end didn't look like it was very good .
    I can wait for some real good ice but it's driving me nuts , maybe this weekend or mid-week next week I can get on Indian . I prefer 6" but might settle for 4" of clear/black , will see . Rogue .

I fished Deer Creek lake ( the one south of 70 ) a couple times last year thru the ice , and you do have to be real careful there . If it gets good enough ice I will fish it with you if you want , it's my preferred lake to fish all year long . Now don't get too excited I never catch anything there but I just like going there .
