It's pretty good. I have watched people pull in one after another. This was a pretty popular spot last week with the warmer weather. It's fun to watch the kids drop their line and pull out a fish just like that. They get so excited!
White Bass are doing well this week and anglers are still bringing in the saugeye. Bluegill and crappie are doing well and as the weather cools they will be the most popular catch. The east shore of Rocky Fork Lake is the deepest part measuring 40 ft in the middle. At the end of the docs you can fish at depths of 25 – 30 feet giving the advantage over shore fishing as the water temperature fluctuates during the day. The boats docked on the lake pull out by November 1st so the docks open up to fishing more easily. When the lake freezes this winter, anglers regularly sit on the docks, drill a hole in the ice and enjoy a hot cup of coffee from Rocky Fork Marine.
