I fished 2 hours did not catch anything. Guys next to me did not catch much either, only saw one caught and he said had two others.

Palm has 4" of ice now. 2.5 white and 1.5 clear. The slush layer th at was between is now frozen.

I saw 5 shanties off of Palm Rd. last night. did not have any gear with me, was just doing a drive by so I do not know what the ice thickness was. Apparently not IFOers, as I've seen no posts on this.

Drove by here yesterday, looks like the bays are iced over but still lots of opn water. The cold nights ahead will help!

I got skunked today to. Had two wader problems that made for an interesting morning. It was a good learning experience though, and will hopefully do better next time.

Just a follow-up on turkeyneck's post: Microsoft security essentials is definitely a good way to go. I work in IT in a corporate environment but at home I always use mse. Microsoft does a grreat job of keeping it up to date.
