What are you wanting to fish for.
Crappies can and will be all over the lake and different depths depending where you fish
Walleye are tougher to find but the old road bed north of h
The campground is popular
Get a free map here and look at the lake

I am heading out now and plan to be there sun as well

I have auger rope and spikes and claws
I need a safety man and we will check it as we go
All welcome that wants to go
We will do it safely and when we have that warm fuzzy we will set tip ups
And shanties and get the grill going

Hey is anyone going out the marina to the main lake yet?
I asked because I'm not sure of the "marina arms" that are mentioned.
Plan on being there sat and sun if anyone cares to venture.
I "think" it should be ok but will have a safety rope with me.

Great to meet you as well. Yea my partner is known far and wide and wanted in 3 states I know of. LOL

As far as ice spikes there is a place in Englewood that still has a couple pair

Sunday morning in the marina @ 7:30 till 2:00

Lots of IFO's there. Met a few and talked a little.
To busy reeling them in. Helped a couple new guys to catch their first ice fish. Something tells me they are looking for a flasher today.
Caught fish on bottom and suspended.
Left with 14 keeper crappies and 4 gills.
Caught fish all day but had to weed thru about 40 gills and 30 crappie.
No tip ups were touched
Looking forward to this w/e
