Honestly ice fishing is for advanced fisherman... Cold feet and cold hands lead the weak out the door... Happy for that... Best choice for the winter catch goes as follows... CRAPPIE- 2 inches off bottom, PERCH give or take, WALLEYE straight bottom. 40 or 50 yards off shore is your best bet. Find landmarks or drop offs that sustain fish...
