Medina Lake / Medina Lake

Been on the lake Feb 6th. Went in off Granger Rd.-4-5 inches of ice. Caught a couple little perch two crappie and 12 blue gill. Some were nice size pumpkin seed blue gill. Fished 18 foot of water.
Plan on going back Thursday

went to chippewa lake today very cold . Caught 2 perch 1 bass 15 crappie 16 bluegill no size. We were in 7ft of water 8in of ice, wind was blowing to hard to move the shanty. would like to try wingfoot this week,not sure where the lake is located need some help thanks

we were fishing to the left of the public boat ramp approx 200 yards at the point.We also fished yesterday, we caught blue gill, crappie, and a few perch again, but no size. A guy from Barberton did catch a 12" crappie in 8 foot of water a little east of the point. I've had a lot of guys tell me there are big crappie in the lake, Bob at the bait store said a guy has a 22" crappie mounted. I know it's hard to believe. I've seen pictures of 12 plus out of the lake.

Went fishing at Chippewa Lake this afternoon. Four inches of good ice in fourteen foot water. Caught two perch, twenty crappie, and five bluegill. There was no size to them. Kept a total of five. Going tomorrow, there were five shanties on the ice.

I live between medina and wooster a pond by me had 3" of good ice the pond is 8ft deep. I didnt feel comfortable by myself ,wondered if anyone was going to try fishing any lakes in the akron area tomorrow .If it's safe I would like too join you. Im terrible on the computer but the web site is so good i thought id give it a try.I also have a fl-8 ice shanty power auger fished devils lake five years ago what a blast.
