Let’s just say I’ve never been so scared thinking I was gonna fall thru. Literally every step was risky. Booby traps everywhere. The weeds grew to the surface all the way to the crack and anywhere a weed was touching the surface was paper thin ice. EXTREMELY dangerous. We were a group of about 7 and we had to work together coming off. Especially weighing 300lbs like myself, it was real scary. Thank goodness a buddy had a board to get over many spot where there was no where to step otherwise you were going in.

Well... since I gave the other forum a nice hefty thread for mosquito, I might as well have one here on IFO! Hopefully no one here wants to argue about how to safely cross a crack! Anyway, headed to the lake now, hopefully they are biting for my last trip of the year out there!

Just got home from the ice! Fished 10a-10p at an undisclosed location. Fished 15 feet of water.
Caught a bunch of crappie, perch, gills and a tanker cat. Had to open up the hole more with the spud to get him thru! Lost another big cat 2 mins earlier and lost another decent one at the hole later on. Ice ranged from 5-8” everywhere I was. Great day to be on the ice! Planning on hitting next three days! Ice was poppin coming off!

Warmest day in 15 day is 38 right now where I am with multiple lows around 10-15°. Everything should definitely lock up these next few days then next Tuesday hopefully melt whatever snow is on top and keep building the day after when it gets nice and cold again. Don't give up faith gents! Not yet!

Definitely in for 3 if not all 4! I would assume that the mosquito one will be going out from the causeway ramp. never fished pyma before, looking forward to it if i can make it.

I would agree with snow one, although I've been fishing the last few days and am planning on it thru Friday. The season is most likely over this weekend. How do you go about the final pot noticeman?

Yeah I saw the schedule after I posted. Hopefully the end of next week gets a little colder and no rain. Forecasting the opposite right now
