guys I checked Blackhawk, long island and few other common spots, STAY OFF, the ice along the edges is crap, and thin. I tried to get on in one spot the spuded good took 3 more steps and stepped thru the ice,, saw couple guys out with planks, but ill wait couple days or until tomorrow FYI

just curious guys how many of you fish indian after the sun goes down. what areas are a must stay away from? watching the snowmobiles come thru the area scares the crap out of me, maybe its just my job, but don't want to end up on the front of a sled.

checked indian a hour ago, rain mix last nite did rid the lake of snow but its slushy on top of the ice found 1.5 to 2 inches under the slush, checked several locations. my guess by mid to end of week should be walkable. be safe and cautious!!
