Ice on PH is 4 inches thick. I was fishing 200 yards off shore. Fished for 2 & 1/2 hours. Only one small bite.

 Just got back from PH. Fished from 9:30 to 2:30. Caught one perch that's it. Tried two different spots. Used minnows & three different jigs. All different colors & sizes. Perch hit on a minnow from a tip-up. Nothing was hitting from jigs.

I was fishing in between the boat docks & beach. More in the middle of the lake.

Yeah I did keep the same one on the whole time. I should have changed jigs. I was getting hits on it so I just decided to keep using it. I Definitely will be using different colors & sizes tomorrow.Thanks for the info.

Got out this morning on PH. Good ice 6 inches. Didn't catch anything. Fished from 7:30 to 10:15. Got a few hits in three different holes. Going to try tomorrow all day. This time with minnows. I was using maggots on a small dark purple ice jig.

Hello everyone. My name is Jeff. I've been ice fishing for quite sometime now 20 years. Mostly Northern Pike with tip-ups in western New York. That's where I'm from. Now I live in Mansfield. I mostly ice fish Pleasant Hill Lake. I ice fished there last year did ok, not great but ok. I'm definitely fishing there this weekend. Hope to get more insight on other great places to ice fish in Ohio.
