Make sure you relace those hooks on the buckshots, they arent the quality they used to be-just my opinion.

I have the same shanty and love it, i had the canvas replaced free of charge from Clam! i bought the shanty 4 years ago from Cabelas and thats exactly what i paid for the unit, it suits me just fine since i live in Cincy and only get to use it maybe 5-6 times a year at Indian or around here when we have ice.

Leaving at noon today to head to erice but we are going out of turtle crrek to fish for eyes and perch. i will let you know how we do, the fishing is only going to get better as it gets cooler!

Van works very hard for the fish and knows their movement most of the time. last year i went with him in October and we had 180 fish in 5hrs with some nice JUMBOS in the mix.

I have a FL-8SLE for sale with mag shield. I just got my FL-22 pro pack today. They were on backorder for the last month from Thorne Brothers and Glenns army navy got some in so i ordered it thru them. Works great, battery and charger come with unit as well as a Eskimo cover for the unit. $175.00 call me at 513-403-2883. thanks

I have a Vexilar fl8sle for sale, its about 4-5 years old. Its has a Eskimo soft case and a new Magshield purchased last month at Gander Mountain on my way back from Indian Lake. I used it this past weekend at PIB and the battery lasted all day from dark to dark. The unit works great, however on occassion it will stop, all you have to do it tap it and it comes back on. I THINK the brushes need to be cleaned. i will sell it for $160.00. I also have a Clam Chair for sale that i used maybe 6-7 times, I will let it go for $50.00. I have all the paper work for the Vex, no box. Located in Cincy.
