just bought an adapter for my auger to attach it to my drill. i have a 18 volt dewalt. does anybody have one of these and is 18 volt plenty to drill a 6 in whole?
Want to do some shopping tomorrow mornin for some new ice gear. (shanty, rods, etc.) where do you think is better? Bass pro or cabelas? And is the bass pro in Dundee better for ice gear, than cinncinatti? Been looking at the 2 man clam w sled.... Never had clam... Is it durable? Thanks for the help!

went to harbor hills yesterday and had 4 inches of good ice, went to fairfield beach today and had 3 1/2 to 4 inches of ice, didnt get anything and only heard of a couple caught.....there where maybe 15 guys out.....try it again tomorrow i guess!!
went to leibs island and we only had 1 1/2 to 2 inches, went to fairfield beach boat ramp drilled a hole 5 feet out and had 3 1/2 went out 20 feet and drilled had 4 1/2, went out another 15 yards drilled and had 5 3/4inches went out another 15 yards and drilled and only had 2 1/2 sooooooo...... im thinkin by monday we should be out.... be careful the ice is sketchy
im going to indian lake tomorrow 12/30/09 in search of an EYE or two. where is the best place to go with safe ice. i hear Moundwood is good but hows the ice...if not can i catch them at Long island. ive only been to indian lake one time with dad years ago,directions to these areas would be awesome.
