Lake Erie / Lake Erie ice taxi

I wanted to let everybody know that Reel Sport Fishing Charters will be offering a ice taxi on Lake Erie if there's safe ice. Check them out on Facebook. I know I will be trying them out. I did a lot of walking last year.

Clear Fork Reservoir / 12/19/13

Fished with Mitch131 today. Started down by the sailboat docks. Drilled holes in anywhere from 5ftw to 15ftw, never marked a fish.
We then decided to fish the channel before you hit the main lake. Marked a lot of fish in 10ftw hugging the bottom. Raised a lot fish just not many takers.Caught a variety of fish but they were all dinks. On our way off the lake we met Foster173. Thanks for the tip on the spot. It was nice meeting you, we will have to get on the ice real soon.

Small Pond Reports / Pond in Mansfield

Finally got out. Hit a small pond caught about 25 gills and a few lmb. Caught most in 10 to 14 ftw. Caught them on Fiska's tungsten jigs tipped with spikes. It was great to get out. Pond had about 3 to 3 1/2 inches of ice in most places. Here's a couple I got today.

Clear Fork Reservoir / Clear Fork ice fishing

Greg Wasluski the game warden for this area and one of the park rangers from Clear Fork went in front of Mansfield city council to get them to allow ice fishing at Clear Fork Reservoir. From what I am hearing they had all the right answers to the questions. Could have an answer in as little as 2 weeks.

Shanty Help / L.E.D. Lights

Installed Clam L.E.D. Lights in my shanty today. Also put runners on it. Big thanks to Mitch131 for all the help. The lights work great recommend this to anyone.

Who got ice gear for Christmas? I know Santa was good to me. I got 15 titanium jigs also runners for the shanty. Also got L.E.D. Lights and battery for the shanty. Lets not forget the 26" Thorne Bros. Quiverstick. Santa was very good to me.

Well I'm going to miss my spring trip to Dale Hollow for the first time in 7 years. If anybody ever gets a chance to go I would recommend it. The smallmouth fishing is out of this world.

Well looks like ice fishing is about to come to an end. Wed. and Thurs. in the 40's with rain and Fri 51 with rain. Thats not good.
