Got a report from friends it was 4.5 yesterday should be over 5 today.
Water is murky form the rain an high winds before freeze. Still can be some thin Ice So
Be sure to spud you way out .

Free 2 Person Shanty, their is a crack on 1-side of the bottom but still functional. Canvas is in fair condition, just needs a little TLC, and will keep you warm while you fish. Need the room would like to give FREE to someone who needs it.
I am in Columbus, Ohio the southern side in Obetz OH, can pickup at my workplace.

Talk to Jim at Millersport deli and bait Today. Jim told Me 4 1/2" out of Fairfield Beach . There were a few fishing today He said. P.S. Jim has bass minnows ,waxies ect. Bait store #740-467-2707 Always check ice. Use spud bar an drill be safe.

Friend at Fishers Marina posted this morning. A frozen #buckeyelake early this morning. And to think we had been doing some winter boating just a few days ago.
Talk to Millersport deli and bait . Jim said he would let me know when Ice gets safe.

Stop at Millersport deli and bait Today. Jim was telling me lake had over 2 inches over weekend an due to this cold weather it should be getting close. So i went to Fairfield beach to check . Walk out and used my spud bar. I hit it with all my might four times in same place all I could due was chip it . The ice on top was clear with small amounts of cloudy. I forgot to bring my drill, but it is looking good. have pictures. p.s. Jim has bass minnows now. He will get waxies Ice augers an blades wednesday. Bait store #740-467-2707 Always check ice. use spud bar an drill be safe. thanks.

Drove around lake today it is locked up . Not safe. Did not have spud bar with me. There were 3kids walking around the edges at the fairfeld parking lot. They were walking on the clouded part of the ice. I told them the clear
ice was not safe. So as kids they pick up big rock an throw it on the clear ice, and it crack the ice. It show them the ice was not safe.

Ice has been making since 12/12/13 starting around 4:00 am. It is now
12/13/13 at 9:20 am . like to know how the rest of lake is .
