Buckeye lake / Buckeye Ice Conditions 2021

Hello All,

I know we are getting some crappy weather at the moment, but wanted to start a thread for ice conditions for this year. It is about an hour and a half drive for me, so any help or info is always nice before I make the trip. Usually fish out of Fairfield Beach area. I know the golden rule of checking my own ice which I do, but it cuts down on the travel if I know there is only 2-3 inches of ice. Thanks and good luck to all that get out!

Indian Lake / Fishable Ice for Friday??

Anybody have ice thickness report? Want to make the 2hr drive and I know to check my own ice, but don’t want to waste the gas and time if not at least 3-4inches. Any info as always is appreciated. Thank you guys

Ice Gear for Sale / WTB OR Trade for a XI 9 20 Ducer

Trying to find a ice ducer for a hummingbird. Made up a travel pack for my Helix 5 unit and need the ducer to finish it up. I seen some videos on using the boat unit but it looks like a pain to keep it vertical. Not really wanting to pay full price at this point and am willing to trade some soft water stuff if anyone is interested. Please let me know!

I have tried searching through here to find when they plan on starting these. All I have found is Nov. Is there a particular date? I have been wanting to fish one of these for a few years now and want to make sure my gear is ready to roll by the start of them. Thanks
