Hey guys I just got off the phone with David and he wants to move it to next Saturday. This Sunday didn't work for quite a few people and he as well as those who are gonna fish are trying to get the best turnout possible. Hopefully this doesn't screw too many people up. Due to the predicted weather and the way these people drive around here tomorrow afternoons tourney will be pushed back until next weekend. In the unlikely event there's ice then obviously we will not have one. Also if you are interested in fishing or have been to a few this year leave some feedback on whether an afternoon or morning get together is better.

Hey all, the dock tourney Saturday December 15th will be held from 1pm until 6pm. The last two Saturday mornings have been slow to say the least so hopefully an afternoon outing will produce a better bite. Just wanted to get the word out early for those of you planning to fish.

Hey guys, just wanted to say a few words about this time of year. I know everyone is eager to get on the ice and trust me there are very few as eager as I am. Please do not trust what others say about the thickness. Spud and drill your way out to the fishing grounds. Just because you see people out fishing doesn't mean the entire area is safe. Please have the appropriate safety gear in case something does happen. I wish everyone a great ice season, I just don't want the unfortunate to happen. Have read way too many reports of "accidents" across the ice belt all season. I know the seasoned vets know how to approach the ice but I want those new to the sport to be safe and know that no ice is safe ice! Tight lines y'all I

For those of you that didn't make it this weekend, a general consensus from those who did are all in favor of an afternoon tournament. Possibly a 1-6 or 2-7 time frame. The fishing has been dismal to say the least and it would be a nice change of pace. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions speak up lol

Hey guys just throwing it out there to see what the feedback would be. With 2 tough Saturdays in a row, mainly due to cold fronts what if any interest would there be in an afternoon tournament? I realize it may be more difficult for the guys who have a longer drive but in my experience fishing the docks the evening bite is much better than the morning as a rule. Just a thought I had..

Made the wrong decision again today and hit the Dead Sea aka buckeye lake. 4" of good clear ice but no fishes;( At least was nice to get out one last time lol

Frigid for a few days, warm for a week. I can't take it anymore. Looking into relocation next winter so I can get on the ice more than twice a year!!
