Sorry I haven't made any reports, I've been on overtime or I've had home projects. I've only been able to get out 3 times, so I've just headed to the honey hole on a private lake, where I know there's fish to be caught. I've got the projects completed and after I have DirectTv hook up my new house Saturday morning I will be able to get on the water A LOT more! From the looks of everyone's posts everybody is enjoying the ice and getting ahold of some nice fish! KEEP IT UP! and BE SAFE!

Fished first light to almost 12 out in front of the hanger. Me and a buddy caught 25/30. All small perch, with 3 crappie mixed in. Caught them on a little bit of everything, spoons to dead stick. 10-11 1/2 FOW

Had a decent first day on Wingfoot 2013, caught a mixed bag around 30 this morning in 11-13 FOW. And got close to the same this evening in 10 FOW with the majority being small gills. Fished the north easternly side of the group both times, the evening I was closer to the tire reef. I went thru a bunch of baits nothing was HOT, caught on just about everything. I wasn't able to get into the real heavy. Hope it freezes back up quick after this warm up!!

Hey John I've been wondering about the new propane augers. Are they legal on these waters? I would think they are since we all take the 1lb propane cans out for our heaters and lanterns. I know you said gasoline, but I wanted to be sure.

Just find wingfoot state park. pull in the main entrance and stay straight un till you see a parking lot across from a house its the only one out there. you'll see it.

The maps are correct, there is actually bouys out there the farthest one is the 15-16FOW and the closer one is in the 12-13 range..

jiggin spoons especially the forage minnow i catch a bunch of fish on them evertime im out! saturday i caught 30 between 11:15 and 1:30. they are loving these lures. 10-12 FOW.

they have been hot for me! caught 30 yesterday between 11:15 and 1:30. dropper doesn't work out there too well i couldn't get them to hit the maggots the kept after the body even if i raised it up. the crappie flat out attack it!!!!
might go out for a lil while today haven made up my mind yet..

these have been the hot ticket for me on Wingfoot this year. havent tried the dropper rig yet hoping it gets me some more gills. the crappie will come in and hit them at 100mph. and if they miss they will turn around and come back and get it. had several fish miss it multiple times some of them i would turn around 5-6 times after they keep misssin in. its crazy!
