What a great day on the ICE today went out @ Tuttle and had a blast...ICE IS ABOUT 11 inches, shoreline is a little mushy ! Fishing was great Crappies and Perch were more than willing to inhale my minnows..My buddy and I fished 12 ft of water NW of ramp.I sat on a bucket back to the wind and the bite was on..Biggest Crappie was 16inches and took home 5 others from 12" to 15",didn't get any Jumbo Perch but did get some nice 8"-10" ones....Will be back at it tomorrow and Monday....

ErieTom, a few friends and I will be out Sat. if ya wanna meet up. Hell maybe we can make this a ICE FISH OHIO day out? Would be pretty cool. We are gonna hit Manning then try DAM area for the elusive Mr.Walleye.

Will be there fishing out of Tuttle point in the campground ramp.....12 ft of water has been pretty good....

I was at Pymatuning today @ Tuttle Point ....Ice was great....Fish were willing to bite my minnows except for the fact they were small(6"-8")...Ice I would say is 11 inches thick and making more heard rumbling a few times..I fished in 13 ft of water....WIND WAS CRAZY today ..saw alot of buckets,seats and other various thing blow away....Yes 1 of the seats was mine from my tree stand...blown east towards Linesville I believe..

I was at Pymatuning on Sun.2-16-14 from 8:30 am - to 2:30 pm off Tuttle Point set up in 12-13 ft of water. ALOT of snow on the lake so pulling was a bear...Anyway did ok a few perch 8-10 inch and my friend lost a nice walleye at the hole...Perch hit on orange and pink hooks w/minnows about 2 ft off bottom.. Walleye blasted a blue/white airplane jig n minnow....Got bait at Gateway guy was very generous on minnows and information.

I have fished for about 40yrs and I am not afraid to tell fellow anglers where fish are biting.This seems to be a no-no to some people,heck I don't care if I tell you,maybe you aren't fishing like I am. Maybe I can learn something from you?...I am from Youngstown....Good Luck Fishing everybody and be safe !
