General Discussion / Ice fishing Norwalk reservoir
« on: December 22, 2016, 06:34:56 PM »
So I have looked online for rules regarding ice fishing Norwalk reservoir, I've yet to find any info stating its not allowed. I also found a thread from another site back from 2011. They were giving an ice report on Norwalk. So, does anyone have to info? I will probably call the local office station in the morning if I'm out that way....thx for any replies.

Any info on where bait is being purchased? I called causeway and got the recording on the way home from work. The message stated closed until ice season. Anyone have any info, or another option? Thx

Well I'm glad all are working and have jobs. I'm just surprised that no one knows someone in the field looking to make easy money. Oh well. Nothing new, give it a few more years and there won't be any tradesmen, the young ones are still playing video games in their late 30's.
And the 20 something are still breast feeding.
Thank IFO for letting me post.

I'm a tile/granite guy. I'm in need of an electrician around the west suburbs of Cleveland. At the moment I have multiple 1-2 day jobs. All work is in excellent working environments, it's all residential, too much to list. You must know your way around a panel box. Pm me if you want more info. Thanks for reading.

Lake Erie / Re: Lake Erie bite

Anyone have opinions on how far one would travel in between moves for a walker. I know its a guessing game for the most part, but are we thinking a 50 yard move is good, or more like 300-400 yards. Is it fewer longer moves, or many shorter moves. I'm just throwing it out there. I know our inland lakes are different where a 25' move can make all the ddifference. Erie is a monster.

Thoughts?

« on: February 03, 2015, 08:52:14 AM »
The shappell fx100 is a great shanty. It's the biggest one man on the market for fishing space. It also is the lightest on the market. Best shanty made at the cheapest price as well.

Ordered mine from a store in michigan and had it in a few days.

Thanks for the report. I was wondering about the chip. And as for that creepy ice, I was on some tonight as well. It was so cold tonight that I was shattering huge areas of ice pockets with the spud. It would of made a newbie soil his shorts. It was cool being the only soul on the ice hearing it sing. The baro pressure has been high, I expect the crappie to bite tmw evening.

Thanks for the report E-man. I am planning a walk out of Catawba this upcoming week. I'm going to see how much snow we get and the wind conditions for Tuesday and Wednesday.
