That's not the new I was looking for man! Oh, well. We tried Oberlin today, all fingerling Crappie. I would have thought we could have got some of the bigger Crappie to bite, but no joy. We are heading to New London tomorrow if you're interested.

Tried Wellington after fishing in akron yesterday, got one very small Perch. Pretty fish, but as far as any keepers, nothing. But on a good note I think the Perch are reproducing well there. I think the next couple years the Perch size willbe much better. Any idea when those Perch were stocked? Big fish have to be in Wellington, one would assume. Any thoughts?

Good day out with slabslayer, showed a few newbies what to do on the ice. Made a good dinner last night. Thanks again, and let us know if you're going again. We'll gladly make the drive. Free this weekend, unless the wife says otherwise!

Thanks guys, Slabslayer, I sent you a PM I think. I got out of the army after 8 years in Feb, now I am a Police Officer in Wellington, Oh. If anyone is ever fishing up there I would like to sit in with you, as I have no idea what I am doing. I usually fish in Vermilion, and some back country ponds in Lorain county. I have a pond with some HUGE bluegill but I havent caught any lately.
