thinking of putting together a trip to devils lake, i was woundering if anyone would be interested in going for a weekend trip, maybe if we got enough people we could get a group discount, if nothing else it would be alot cheaper to split the cost with a few of you, i will be willing to do all the work and planning if you want to go.

thanks for keeping us posted ratherbe, dave and i were thinking thurs. its an hour drive so if u can keep us posted that would be a big help. an hour isnt bad when u can fish but stinks when your wet on the way home.

the arent any good in mucky water, in clear h2o theyre great, dave and i kept entertained last year at alum when fishing was bad watching our lures and some small bluegill,( u need something to entertain urself when fishing with skunk man dave).

its funny u think im bad luck i do pretty well when im not in the presece of skunk man dave, i dont know if ur bad luck or if the fish can see that bright yellow outfit ur always wearing, i do know one thing if ur fishing these series dont come visit me in my shanty im out to win:)

u dont need much to get started, auger 50.00, and ucan buy a pole and lure kit at bait stores for around 20.oo so u can start for under a 100, if u like it than u could move into more advanced equip. i probley have under 1000.00 in my arsenal.

stopped by no ice stll fishing out of boats 2 guys coming out showed me 3 nice eyes 3+lbs said they hitting hard and have been for quit some time

talked to rob at indian he said guys were slaming monster eyes at salt fork, im heading down today to pick up mom for christmas i'll check out ice thickness, would like to take a trip down for a weekend. I grewup fishing the lake, I've got hotspots handed down for 3 generations if any one would like to tag along let me know.

the hat cams are pretty neat, its nice to be able to relive your catch of the day and share it with others,and if your like dave you can edit out all the fish your buddy caught and just show the 2 or 3 you caught. lol
