Just a heads up all. The small culvert area along the causeway on the main side of the lake was open yesterday about 4' x 10'. Watch your step out there as is probably locked up now or by tomorrow but will be thin. Prob 8-10 fow there.

My 14yr daughter and I fished for about 3 hrs. I lil gill.... She still enjoyed it tho. Some slush on top of the ice but still a good 10-12". Gonna break down and try west branch wed or thurs.

Taking my 14 yr old daughter ice fishing tomorrow. Probably head over to deer creek in the afternoon sometime unless anyone knows of a good bite happening.

Decided to hit a Canal Fulton pond instead of Nimi today. 15 keepers 8-10". Chrome ice jig and waxie produced the best. 12 fow towards evening.

Steelneyes and I spudded our way across the the lake from the hill parking lot to fish the trees. 4-5" good hard ice. Edges were pretty tight and making ice. Fished til 630 probably with a few 8" crappies and small gills. It was nice hookin up with ya Russ, we will get out again soon. At least the lake looked good with those two brand new shantys sittin on it.... Ha!
