Was checking area temps and the Mansfield area seems to project lower upcoming temps than the Cleveland area. 4 for an overnight low there tomorrow night.

Very cool but.... Lots of phones going in the hole I bet. Scary purchase for ice fishing IMO.

I used the sponge type for awhile when I first got into ice fishing back in the early 80's. Nothing but springs for a long time now. Just picked up a few at GM actually. Man has the sport progressed or what? But I must say I caught a lot of fish back then too. That's my "old man reminiscing" for the day. 

You Mansfield area dogs will be ice fishing by end of the week I bet. Might have to make a trip if it don't make up here.

1-9 thru 1-12, lows in the teens- low teens. Day temps in the high 20's in the Mansfield area. Keep your fingers crossed.

My dewalt 20v along with my nils does an awesome job. And that's a damn good price for that drill.

I invested in a nils master electric auger for less weight last season. Works great with my 20v dewalt, 12" of ice in about 10 seconds. I have the 6" model. Lots of holes on a fully charged battery. Comes in sections with an arbor and a handle. It's cool because if you have 10" of ice you only need to carry the 14" section and add according to ice thickness. Check it out.
