good luck BK, we were there tues and noone was having any luck. we were fishing the deep water and we had a guy from over by the campground. he said the same thing, noone was having luck. i wish you luck though. im fishing a farm pond down the road so i hope to have better luck:)

thanks snowcone that is what i was looking for. my main concern was wondering if there was something missing about the lake for ice fishing i was missing like unsafe ice or something. with the reports i read on dnr i would of thought this place would be nice for the locals. im about 3.5hrs away from the lake so i wanted to make sure it was worth my time to try to make it for ice fishing or just wait til summer.
we drove past this place last week and wow what a cool lake. i was shocked to not even see a trail out on the ice. i wonder what the issue is. would love to go hit it up. thinking of making a trip there this summer.
was there a couple weeks ago and pulled out 5 nice trout and my cuz did as well. we were in the very far back part towards the camp ground. i have heard you can catch them by the dock too.
oh def, i was out there about 5 years ago for the first time, craziest noise i ever heard with the ice cracking. hope to check it out soon, just bites that the sun is down almost everyday when i get home:(
Thinking about going out to try bresslers as its only 5 mins from the house, but if not much is going on, might just have to stay home on the pond lol.
