Aquilla Lake is located in Geauga County... East of Chardon and North of Burtonm Middlefield & Aquilla, Ohio.  The main access entrance is off St Rt 608.  

The lake is managed by the ONDR. It is within the Upper Cuyahoga River Watershed. Designated, limited day-use recreational area.

It is a relatively small lake, 35 surface acres.
Targeted species: Crappie, Bluegill & Largemouth Bass.

 Nobody on Palm Rd
 3 Guys coming off Congress Lake Rd (East Side) 20 gills
 Nobody fishing West of Congress Lake Rd
 Nobody fishing at the St Rt 43 Boathouse/Boatlaunch
 Nobody fishing West of St Rt 43. No tracks or footprints
 Nobody fishing Lansinger Rd/Ticknor Rd Boat Stake Area.. No tracks/footprints onto ice
 Nobody fishing North Dike/Sunnybrook Rd.. but did see numerous tracks leading to onto the
  ice
 Nobody fishing North Dike/Old Forge Rd, nor any tracks/footprints

... Have seen very few ice fisherman on Ladue during this early part of our hardwater season.  Only a couple of guys north or St Rt 422., nobody west of the St Rt 44 Boatlaunch and only a few tracks west of St Rt 44.

I finally got tired of all the shortcomings of my best efforts to keep organized & haul my tip ups onto the ice. I made this contraption a couple of weeks ago.
