it was nice  getting out but i want to catch some fish.  lately my dry streak is bad..   might hit moggy again this weekend .  dinks dont make good sandwiches    lol      got dry gulched at nimi last week  hhahaahah    hope you get out buddy  first thick ice we have had  in awhile    get er done   hahaahhhah

hit moggy up sun with my bud,  went out off the road by the power lines. drilled holes almost all the way accross the 26ft .
marked some active fish , caught a cat  good size    one perch  dink...   they would follow bait but no hit   aaaahhhhhhh...water clarity was couple feet color was stained. shad were moving .. ice was about 5-6 clear and 7 "  trash...was using jjigs and maggys , spoons, kitchen sink ...lol    hung out a few hours and headed home  licking our wounds   hahahahah

we hit up hinkley and most was knee high  sled drags ok as long as its not soft like sand,,bhut nooooo    soggy sticky goop ...sled drags like crap..  tell ya what the junk on top of ice sure beats up your blades....i still need a goat    hahahaahah

well folks i have been out a few times and wow ,,,  the snow is so  deep getting out a ways on the lakes is really  really tough, theres  walkabe ice all over my haunts but i  havent done real well just a couple dinks  ....    hit up hinkly lake during the start of the last snow blast...  ice was good 5 solid and 4-6 trash and i couldnt measure the snow  .   but no fish ,

hit up s e  side if nimi too day   ice was  even at about  5  6  clear  then 5 trash , hit 26 fow and  found a few fish  , plenty of folks all along the lake.   didnt  have much luck watching the fish lol    so  we headed to another portage lake s   string  same ice conditions as nimi,   went out to 24 fow dropped sonar in and look for some fissh  worked back to 10 fow  and found 3 gills   hahah     oh well  test run ...lol

that was a trash move for them,  just to walk up and claim those holes for themselves.  they knew that they were being assss  wipes.. you did better than me handling that , crap if they asked i would have offered to drill them some holes, being the dumb assss i am i may have peed in a cup and proceed to pour it down those said holes and smiled as i walked awayy .

yep  just picked up at wally world for 9 $  2 for that  and a single  and they tried to charge me 10$  for the single,  not   she even said i could go back and get the other 2 pack  for 9$     not    sold me the single for 1/2  like a good retailer.

last year was  tough finding propane bottles  in the 1 lb ,   usually fill my own but this year i will just buy some .  lol   i need the new tanks  hahahah..   hopefully the problem doesnt happen this year  ...   since the ice ice better this year  i actually feel like putting the effort in to go fishin    hahahaha    hows the propane situation out there guys, with these temps ya can burn thru  a couple tanks a day , i do...i like it warm in my shanty  hehehehh    i have 2  buddy heaters   one single and a double w/  fan  ....
