I fished Kiser tonight from 4-6 pm. I was in 5-6 ft. Of water and caught a good bit of keeper gills. I'll be back tomorrow. There was 4" of slush on top of 10"-11" of ice. Black demon #8 tipped with 2 spikes. Good luck!

Kiser was real good in the early season. But lately it has been sketchy at best! I have fished the east and west ends and have to drill lots of holes to catch few fish. I have been doing better with darker color jigs.

It was nice meeting you today Tinguppy. I caught 1 bass and 5 bluegill when I was there in the afternoon. I went back for the last hour of light and caught 6 gills all were nice size. I will be back out Sunday.

I went to Kiser this afternoon on the south east pier. There were 2 people drilling holes in the middle. Clear ice 4-5".Fish On!!!

I took my 2 boys to Granville and we got out most ice was 4" thick but there are some thin spots here and there. Use a spud bar for sure. I made a trip to the east side and went out on the point the ice there for the most part was 4" -5" I did run into some slush. It can only get better. Hope this helps.
