That is awesome! I spend most of my day at Franklin Monroe, but frequent Milton often. I apoligize for not calling last night the wife wants to contact you so she can get it for an xmas present. Fathead you are the only bait store I use. Fred is awesome to deal with and you always have what I need. I am the fellow who came in last year and bought all of your ice fishing poles. Maybe we can all get together and put the hurt on some fish this winter.

I am interested in booking a trip with my boys. I am fairly new to the lake erie ice fishing thing, and I am wondering how to get to Put-In-Bay once ice settles in. And when would be best to book a trip to put the kids on some eyes?

General Soft Water Discussions / CJ Walleye????
« on: April 14, 2011, 02:14:56 PM »
I have been at CJ Brown trying to get on some of those trophy walleye that I hear so much about but I am not having any luck. I am looking for some hints on what to use and where and when is the best time to catch them.

C.J. Brown / Re: CJ Brown 2-13-11

I met Rather Be Fishing today at CJ. It was my first time fishing CJ. I tried on the old roadbed and caught a few crappies, but no hot action. I ended up at one of the fish structures and caught a few more crappie. I really appreciate Ratherbe's friendliness and willingness to show me what he was doing in order to get the bites even if they were small. This is my first year hard water fishing and everyone that I have met this year has been very helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks guys this is one hot site.

I just came back from Kiser lake and there were 4 people out and nobody was catching anything worth bragging about.  I buy all of my bait from F&S out of Conover.
