I fished the docks yesterday and got 11 keeper crappie and my buddy had 2 more on and lost them at the top. We had about 2 dozen short fish and a bunch of little gills nothing over 6".

I took 2nd Mark cause I knew it would be hard to beat Charlie Queen. He got 5 fish 2.05 lbs, I got 4 fish 1.35 lbs, 2 other guys had 3 each and I only was .10 lb ahead of one of them. About 20 or so guys and the bite was slow I did not get a keeper after 10:00. It was nice to meet some of the guys and put faces to names.

I asked Jeff Tipton the county wildlife officer if he would give me a ticket for using a gas auger on Kizer and said it it was ok. But I have had other people say the park officers might. I have used and seen them used the last 6-7 years. Also I have never seen a 3 or 4wheeler on the lake in the 12 or so years I have fished it.

My ? is was the dock that slick that you needed your cleats, also I didn't see that you were using them yesterday at CJ.

Was at CJ this morning the road down into the marina was pure ice with a road closed sign at the the top of the hill. I caught 4 crappie in 4 hours, 2 guys were out from the marina, 4 out from mrb, 2 out from campground beach. Ice was 10-11.5" where we were, good luck bruce.
