Not sure where route 45 is. Spencer lake is on state route 162 west of medina. It is usually the first lake with washable ice around here. I fish there till some of the other lakes are solid.

Stopped by after work today  everything was iced over on both sides. Walked out about 7 feet  ice was clear and hard with a dusting of snow on top. I didn't have my spud bar so I didn't go any further.
I hope to be out there at daylight on Friday. If anyone is interested pm me.  :)

The 2 ponds mentioned above with the pavilion in between them. The one on the east I know is owned by the VFW and only members and guests can fish it.before they bought the land I used to fish it and never caught a thing. Now it is stocked by the VFW.
I am not sure who owns the west pond. NEver caught anything in that one either.
Both ponds are very shallow.
The other ponds on 20 range from 12' to 30'.
I would like to find out who owns a few of the other ponds on that stretch of 20. I will go to the auditors website and find out.

Never been to mogadore. With this wind that may be the only fishable ice I see. What part of the state is it in   I am 30 minuets west of Cleveland

If the wind would die down we could make some ice.  But with the next 3 days being 20 mph or more I'm not sure we will even have ice this weekend

Had fun yesterday.
Fished in 7 FOW.
Used a small red glow on the south side.
Left with 40 gills (3 fish ohio).
Bite was great in the morning then the sun came out and everything slowed down.
Hope for cold weather next week!!!

I use the uder armour layering system.
Not itchy, very warm & it wicks the sweat that may occur while traveling to your fishing spot and back to your vehicle.

Rebel makes a neoprene glove with slits in the fingers in which you can fold back to expose the finger tips for dexterity.
There is velcro on the back which holds the tips securly in place.
They are in-expensive $10-$15 per pair.
I bought mine at walmart but I have seen them at dicks and gander mountain.

Hope this helps!!!
