There is a Walleye/Perch tournament at Hubbard Lake that is big. Can do it on foot but an atv would be much better,

I have said for years when people say there are eyes in Nimmy that if there are they are rarer than a sighting of Bigfoot riding a unicorn. Well Wednesday night not only did I see Bigfoot riding a unicorn but also saw a leprachaun riding Nessie.
I caught my first ever Nimmy Eye (after 20,000 hours fishing the lake) about 7:30pm. It was a nice 24 incher which was followed 20 minutes later by a 23 incher. I then lost one at the shore which was followed by a 21 incher. I lost another at the shore as I tried to rush landing it. I finished my epic night with a 14 incher. All this happened in about 90 minutes. The good news is they are still stocking or they are reproducing as last known stocking was 2018. Sorry no pics, I have them and will attempt to post.

Actually I did catch a 23 inch eye of 2/19 at Pymy and have pic but it is such a pain to post pics to here. It was the last fish of the season for me as the shoulder gave out on that trip.If I ever caught an Eye at Nimmy there would definitely be a pic as I have yet to even see one caught in around 20,000 hours of fishing there in the last 17 years.

You know I will be on Moggy so see you there. Bought the insulated Eskimo hub two years back and replaced my flip mid season for an insulated Eskimo Wide One so fishing in style now.

Now that I am back to being able to fish reasonably well I am looking towards the coming ice season. Where is everyone olooking to head this season? Am hoping to hit another different lake up North, maybe St Helens. Am also hoping to do the ice tourneys in NW PA if I can find a committed partner. Of course Erie if possible.

Will be healed up from shoulder surgery in plenty of time for ice season. Had two tears in rotator cuff with one being 90%. They reattached two tendons removed a large bone spur and did some tidying up up Doc said. He was surprised That I was able to even use it .

I am not on FB either and since nobody updates the tournament info on here I only hear anything if I think to ask Bobby or Grant.
