Sounds like the fishing was slow since Friday. I'm glad for that. Let those fish get acclimated and dispersed. Should be some good fishing this week with less crowds.  ;)

Congrats to all that fished the Berlin tourn. No Walters, huh? Sounds like some tough fishing today. I couldn't make it. Honestly, weather kept me away. I'd like to do one event this season.  ;)

Hinckley is shallow and warms up pretty good during the summer- not ideal conditions for rainbows. Maybe there are a few that make it through the summer? I'd like to know if anyone has ever caught a trout through the ice at Hinckley??  ;)

I haven't seen anyone ice fish Hinckley in probably 20 yrs. They do stock the lake with trout every Spring (usually April.) The lake gets pounded through the Spring and Summer. I guess the thought is by Winter all the trout are caught or died off.
