Ive noticed the same thing. I fished lake milton tuesday, everytime I moved my bait up to the mark it dissapeared.... Mighta been shad idk, but sure was frustrating.

It's been hit or miss for me all season. No consistency..... Lota work drilling holes and moving. Not complaining, I know it kinda goes w/the territory, but you'd think the hot spots would produce fish for a couple days lol.

I work till 2, but everythings loaded. Means ill be fishing by 4. Im headed to Nimi soon, thur, or Friday. Never fished it but a newbie icer at work lives near it. He's been out a doz times or better w/no success. I've got a gas auger, shanty and extra vex. Hoping i can get him a panfish setup and some direction. He's been sitting on a bucket verticle jigging road runners... A little direction and he'll be posting reports and pics lol.

Fished yesterday 1pm to dark. Caught a nice walleye, lost it at the hole. Not much else to post about lol.... Tough day!!! I drilled well over 30 holes.lotsa marks on the vex, couldnt get anything going. Man it was cold!!! Ill be headed back saturday.

The other guys gave you some great advice. Only thing I can add is stay off the bottom. Unless they're locked into some structure they'll be suspended.

Took a couple new people out yesterday. They kept me so busy for the first couple hours I really didnt get a chance to fish. After they left it was all business. Got a hot hole i pulled about 50 crappies through.

Idk SS, Stark Parks sure isn't going to do us any favors for fishing. They did say through email, that Sippo was their designated ice skating lake.

I was informed by Stark Parks Sippo was going to be designated for ice skating. No ice fishing, they had a sign out yesterday saying keep off ice.
