After fishing loramie today I came back to grand lake to scout a few spots. There were a few hole here and there but drilled some of my own to check ice and most of it was 3-4.5 inches. I'm gonna try it in the morning so if anyone knows where the fish are then spill the beans lol.

I'm out right now. The ice is a good 4.5. And the crappie and gills are biting

You guys seem to be pretty confident that we won't be able to fish this weekend, but I'm hoping that these few days in the teens and single digits might get us enough ice!

Hey wapak it sounds like you were either at minster branch or earls. I went to the brick house channel and it was pretty much the same story there. Bunch of small gills and 1 crappie.

Got out there again today. Caught 27 crappie and around 3 dozen gills. Only kept 10 total fish.

I haven't been out at all this week. I've been busy job hunting. I should be able to get out next week. I saw a few people fishing coldwater creek, and there was a group of guys fishing the east side of safety last week for about a week straight even during the cold windy days. So I'm guessing they had to be catching something to keep making the trip. Thats all the Intel ive got for you. Good luck!

I fished a few channels this morning and after a few hours of no luck. I went to loramie and caught them. I'm gonna try night fishing Grandlake tonight, I got a hot tip;) wish me luck

Caught about a dozen nice bluegill and a couple dink crappie. All in about 6' of water. Ive is 11-13" thick.

I Am taking some new guys out tomorrow and was wondering if anything was biting. I would even love to get them on some bluegill. Let me know if it's worth the drive up.
