Here's this years end of season jingle (written to Careless Whisper). Sorry for getting all soppy.....

I feel so unsure

So we are 4 days into the cooler weather, the 15 day shows about the same temps....highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s...Has anyone seen any signs of a freeze yet? Saw some skim ice on a local pond yesterday but that's about it.

I'm hoping this thread brings good news!

Did anyone go out on a boat last weekend? If so did you take note of water temps? I'm curious on whether this warm spell had increased water temps much?

Is anyone considering buying more gear? Something may be happenening to me. With the disappointing season so far I'm thinking no more gear until we get ice again...

At least we've had some ice....the attached pic is from a year ago today showing Alum Creek Docks at sunrise....

Took a drive up to Delaware Lake today. Obviously no hopes of ice however; the lake is open, few signs of ice in pockets, creeks and lots of standing water on land around the lake. The water is very stained (>1ft visibility at the surface) The Olentangy has had quite a run on it for the last week so run-off has stained the lake quite heavily.

Does anyone use a bait store local to Buckeye Lake - if so, which one? Also, do the have minnow?
