Alum Creek Dock Tournaments / Saturday, December 1st Dock Tournament
« on: November 28, 2018, 07:25:24 PM »
This Saturday's Alum Creek Marina Dock Tournament will be held at the traditional time slot beginning at 8am.

I apologize for being a day behind on the post. I had intended to have it up yesterday.

Many guys seem pretty down on the poor weather, but this type of weather has yielded some of the best bags we've had.

I won't see you all this week, because we're getting our tree (in the cruddy weather) on Saturday morning. I have some in-store events coming up that will have pretty busy the next couple of weekends, so the next time I see you guys will likely be on the hard water!

Good fishin' everybody!

Ryan

General Discussion / 2018 Lakeside Pro Bass Demo Day and Derby!
« on: January 04, 2018, 08:29:09 PM »
Join us on Saturday, January 13th from 10:00 -12:00 for in store seminars. Then share your skills with newcomers on the ice at Blackhawk from 12:00-2:00. We'll be demoing gear from Vexilar, Clam, HT and many other top manufacturers.
A pot tournament will follow the demonstrations. This will be very similar to the dock tournament format. We'll run from 2:00-5:00 with payouts for best total weight of 6 panfish, up to 6 saugeye and big fish.

General Discussion / I got on at Long Island.
« on: December 12, 2017, 08:38:43 PM »
Please be very cautious this early season. Indian has areas with 3" that are very near open water. The wind has made ice conditions extremely unpredictable. I strongly suggest getting in touch with someone who knows the locations of open water at this point. These areas will likely be skimmed over by Thursday, but will not be safe for some time.
Don't go out alone, or in low light conditions. Be sure to have a spud and picks. Stay separate on the ice and have a rope and PFD.

Unfortunately, I can't make the Dec.9 tourney due to company xmas party. Would love to do a PM tourney sometime though, no matter the location.

I knew you would! Easier to sleep!

Be sure to vote.
