This is from Facebook post Ohio Ice and Outdoors:

It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel this years Ice tournament and Tundra Towne events. With the current lack of ice and predicted warm weather it will just not be feasible this season. Thank you  all for the support and understanding. We will try again next year.

We do have some exciting announcements coming so stay tuned for that.

Awesome!!  I’m very disappointed in this season.   Zero trips and it looks like it’s going to stay that way. 😡🙄😢

I was able to fish safely yesterday with only 3 inches of ice on my little pond. I drug out my 8 foot Pelican boat and fished out it on the ice! Didn't catch anything, but had a good time.

The season may not be over yet !! Forecast for Indian Lake area. Jan 30 - Feb 6 ( 8 days) Avg. High - 23.5 deg F  Avg.Low - 12.5 deg F  ???

Haha!   Things are starting to look up though middle of next week.   We may be walking on water again yet!   Fingers crossed!

I have 2 ice fishing friend's that may have put the jinx on this season. One bought a new electric auger, the other built a new smitty sled. I'm struggling to determine which one to blame.  :)

Just checked AccuWeather forecast (or as some say In AccuWeather ) for the coldest stretch around the Indian Lake area. Jan 26 - Feb 2 ( 8 days)  Avg High= 30.8 deg.F   Avg Low = 16.8 deg F  Is this good enough for safe ice? Just have to wait and see!!
